Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma may remain at the club despite speculation over his future, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian international, whose current deal runs until June 2026, and his representatives are reportedly keeping the door open for a continued stay in Paris, even amid rising competition.
With PSG linked to a move for Lucas Chevalier, Donnarumma is said to be ready to compete for the starting spot, just as he did in previous seasons against Keylor Navas. A final decision on his future is expected “in the next months,” Romano noted in a series of posts on X.
Elsewhere in the transfer market, Viktor Gyökeres has officially joined Arsenal, choosing the North London club over other suitors. Speaking after the announcement, Gyökeres said, “There were more clubs involved but I wanted to come here at Arsenal… It’s the best club for me.” He also reflected on the difficulty of the deal, stating that media involvement complicated the process.
In a confirmed move to Saudi Arabia, 19-year-old Saïmon Bouabré has left AS Monaco to sign for NEOM SC. The deal is reportedly valued at €10 million, with an additional €2 million in add-ons, including a sell-on clause. Bouabré has penned a five-year deal with the Saudi Pro League side.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have completed the signing of 17-year-old Will Wright from Salford City, beating Arsenal to the young talent. The deal was sealed within the past 12 hours, with all documents signed and Wright agreeing to a contract through June 2028.
