BBNaija Season 11 auditions set to begin in May 22

BBNaija Season 11

The countdown to another season of drama, excitement, and big personalities has officially begun as the organisers of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) announce the start of physical auditions for Season 11.

According to a statement shared on the show’s official Instagram page, physical screening will begin on May 22, 2026, with audition centres set up in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.

Before the in-person selection kicks off, online registration opened nationwide on May 16 and will close on May 20, giving aspiring housemates just a short window to secure their chance at the reality TV spotlight.

The organisers confirmed that only Nigerians aged 21 and above with valid means of identification are eligible to apply, adding that the audition process remains completely free.

Describing the upcoming season, the organisers teased that fans should expect a bigger and more competitive edition, noting that interest in the show continues to grow across the country.

“Biggie is calling once again, and this season promises to be bigger and more competitive. Interested participants are encouraged to complete their registration early because available spaces are limited,” the statement read.

Physical auditions are scheduled to run from May 22 to May 24 across the three designated cities, where selected applicants will undergo screening and evaluation by the show’s producers.

The organisers also explained that the return to physical auditions is intentional, aimed at reconnecting directly with fans and discovering fresh personalities from different regions of Nigeria.

“We are returning to physical auditions to reconnect directly with fans and discover unique personalities from different parts of the country. Nigerians should expect another exciting season filled with entertainment and surprises,” another part of the statement added.

The shift marks a return from the virtual and hybrid audition formats used in recent seasons, which were introduced to widen participation during earlier editions.

Season 10 of the show concluded on October 5, 2025, with Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, emerging winner after beating 28 other contestants to claim the grand prize.

As anticipation builds once again, thousands of hopefuls across the country are expected to storm audition centres, all hoping to secure a spot in one of Africa’s most-watched reality television shows.
